Desiree Velasquez
Desiree is the Director of Client Advocacy at Venerable Injury Law. As the person that oversees the personal injury claims unit, her duties include, but are not limited to, facilitation of interworking office teams, intercompany project implementation, process/protocol development, employee onboarding/new hire training, and ensuring that each team member is effectively performing to the best of their potential. She is the escalation point for complex issues and the designated problem-solver for ongoing claims. During pre-litigation, Desiree supervises each case from intake to its closing point, which specifically includes overseeing cases to ensure that every client is properly guided through the insurance claims process.
By way of background, Desiree’s professional history comprises over ten years of experience in the legal sector and over twenty years of experience in customer communications and customer care. This experience allows her to successfully fulfill her role as the firm's leading negotiator and settlement advisor. Moreover, the pride that she has in her client advocacy skills drives her to encourage other team members to become the best professional versions of themselves.
Desiree has a strong belief in always doing the right thing and defending those who cannot defend themselves. Such belief was instilled in her during early childhood, where she witnessed injustice and the suffering caused by such injustice. Accordingly, her professional goal is to spread knowledge and awareness to all injury victims so that they have the information, tools, and resources required to obtain justice in their own lives.
